What Is Sodium Chloride and What Does It Do?:

Sodium Chloride is also known as table salt.
Appearance: colourless crystals or white powder. It is a dietary mineral.
There are also different types of salt that are all used for different reasons like: refined salt, table salt, and unrefined salt.
Sodium is also one of the primary electrolytes in our bodies along with magnesium, potassium, and calcium.

Health:

May cause mild irritation to the respiratory tract. Very large doses can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and prostration. Dehydration and congestion occur in most internal organs. Hypertonic salt solutions can produce violent inflammatory reactions in the gastrointestinal tract.
Too much or too intake of salt could lead to muscle cramps, dizziness, or even electrolyte disturbance.
